INHOPE Quarterly Seminar

A national hotline helps provide the structure to tackle Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) with the entire ecosystem that is needed to setup a hotline, as laid out in the WeProtect Global Alliance Model National Response. Learn more about the topic of creating a hotline to tackle CSAM.

By establishing a local presence a hotline can create country ownership (of tackling CSA and CSAM) where there might not be any yet and assist in establishing a long-term strategy with all key stakeholders. Whether creating a task force or adding a hotline to current measures already tackling CSAM, a hotline will raise awareness of the presence of online CSAM and its creation, as well as preventing revictimisation. We know and understand that creating a national hotline is a complex process and involves many stakeholders. It requires significant time and dedication. During this seminar we will take the first step by outlining the role a national hotline plays, who operates it and how it runs.

After determining that your country needs a hotline, we recommend key stakeholders view our introductory seminar. Note that live seminars have concluded and we are now offering recorded copies - available on request. Listen and learn about the opportunities available because we want all citizens in all countries to know what to do if they come across this content and be able to report it.
